Network Distributed ISDN for Windows 2000

Network Distributed ISDN for Windows 2000 (NDI) manages the shared use of the server's ISDN-Controllers by the entire network. With NDI, LAN users benefit from the many uses of ISDN-based PC communication, such as sending fax documents from an office application, direct ISDN file transfer with cooperating businesses, or on-line services for e-mail and home banking. NDI allocates available ISDN channels dynamically, as users need them, thus reducing the initial investment and operating costs for ISDN/PC communications in the LAN. Moreover, NDI provides user-specific management and controlling of ISDN resources, and ensures more security in the network.

The Structure of NDI
